An extremely clean example of this model, the Ducati Multistrada was already king of all mountains before the Pikes Peak edition was introduced. The Multistrada won on its first outing at the famous Pikes Peak international hill climb, and has carried on winning many more since. This Pikes Peak factory homage to those race bikes is no slouch itself, powered by the 1200cc Testastretta 11° engine – derived from the 1198 superbike engine – it has been tuned for a smooth linear power delivery especially through the mid range. Brembo brakes all around, twim 320mm discs up front and a 245mm disc in the rear.
Head turning sporty looks blended with modern features like Bosch ABS, dynamic Ducati Skyhook suspension system and a dynamic digital instrument panel. Being the S version, it includes all the elements typical of Ducati’s sporting tradition: Marchesini 3-spoke wheels, Termignoni exhaust and carbon fibre accessories.
